Question by bama0215: yoga & running? is running everyday and doing yoga enough or should i add more? please give me some advice/an effective workout routine that involves running, yoga, and maybe something else. and also should i run first and then do yoga or do yoga and then run? Best answer:

They both burn a lot of calories, so that’s good exercise. I don’t think the order really matters, maybe to help your muscles you can do some yoga before and after running, and then whenever else you want during the day have a long session of yoga.

I run and do yoga as well. It is a good combination, but I am thinking about adding some weight training to my routine as well mainly because I have a lot of flexibility in yoga but not always enough strength.

Depending on my mood, I will do yoga before or after running. Usually before because I like to be warmed up when I start my run but afterward is nice and relaxing too.
